Position P-Speech Language Pathologist Location 58-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Salary Range $42-47 per hour About the Facility Our 58-bed Skilled Nursing Facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents. We offer a range of services including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized programs for individuals with speech and language disorders. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P-Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a P-Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in our residents. Your main goal will be to help our residents improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' speech and language abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and resident goals Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech and language skills Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech-language pathology Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license to practice speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist, preferably in a SNF setting Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and documentation requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Benefits Competitive salary range of $42-47 per hour Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and holidays Continuing education opportunities and reimbursement for professional development Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a dedicated and compassionate P-Speech Language Pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents, we encourage you to apply for this position.
