Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.24 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to airport visitors, employees, contractors, and/or government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned airport facilities, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and report concerns. Monitor access points and observe personnel, vehicles, and visitors entering or exiting assigned areas in accordance with established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required. Prepare clear and accurate reports of observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
