The Immigration Paralegal provides quality and specialized document preparation and has extensive client contact and works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented Immigration Department. This is a cohesive team which is well-managed and well-organized with secretarial and clerical support. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and congeniality. Requirements Must have 5+ years’ experience in a fast-paced business immigration environment, preferably in a large law firm environment. Extensive proficiency and strong knowledge in preparing H-1B, L-1, TN and PERM applications, and a variety of complex immigration processes. Strong experience in preparing RFE responses and PERM audit responses. Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and INSZoom or other document management system. Outstanding case management, prioritization, client service, and organizational skills are necessary. Successful candidates will possess strong business writing skills and will value attention to detail. The statements in this position description are not necessarily all-inclusive. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time. The annual range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, location, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
