Project Manager - Critical Infrastructure

What this job involves: As a Project Manager for Critical Infrastructure at JLL, you'll play a vital role in planning and executing projects that keep essential facilities and systems running at peak performance. This position is designed for professionals with growing experience who are ready to take ownership of complex projects involving data centers, mission‑critical facilities, and infrastructure systems. You'll serve as a key coordinator between internal teams, vendors, and contractors while managing project lifecycles from conception through completion. Your work will ensure projects meet rigorous safety, quality, and compliance standards while staying on schedule and within budget. Day‑to‑day responsibilities: Manage project lifecycles from initial planning through construction, commissioning, and final closeout. Develop and maintain detailed project scopes, budgets, schedules, and documentation to ensure alignment with client requirements. Coordinate closely with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and consultants to facilitate seamless project execution. Monitor progress continuously and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, or risks before they impact delivery. Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and as‑built drawings. Participate in procurement processes and support vendor selection, qualification, and performance evaluation. Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. Provide regular status updates, performance metrics, and executive reports to stakeholders and leadership teams. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical field. 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in facilities, infrastructure, or critical environments. Familiarity with construction processes, building systems, and project documentation standards. Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera, or similar. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling systems. Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments. Preferred qualifications: PMP or CAPM certification, or actively pursuing one. Hands‑on experience with design and technical tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or similar software. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification. Direct exposure to data center or mission‑critical facilities. Knowledge of sustainable building practices, energy management systems, or LEED/Uptime Institute standards.
