Responsibilities: • Read and understand the report/room assignment boards • Ensure that the Housekeeping Closets and Carts are kept clean, organized, and stocked • Clean, dust, sanitize, and stock all guest rooms (including bathrooms and kitchens in certain rooms) according to the standards and procedures of the Resort • Strip rooms of trash and linen • Make beds according to Resort standards • Vacuum/mop floors • Assist with deep cleaning • Handle “do not disturb” rooms • Provide stayover and turndown service as assigned • Report any maintenance issues or lost items to Management • Keep corridors clean, neat, and free of any debris • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Able to work independently and as a team member • Guest service-oriented, ensuring that every guest receives an excellent room • Highly attentive to details, careful, and thorough in completing tasks • Able to maintain composure in difficult situations EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Experience in a Housekeeping Department is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds • Some public areas of the Resort are outside; working in inclement weather is required Compensation: $16 hourly to start
