RN - Endoscopy

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM. Some weekend call shifts and one night of call approximately every 7-12 days. Job Description Seeking a skilled GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to provide excellent patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The candidate will be involved with a variety of procedures including Colonoscopies, EGDs, Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS), and more. The position requires proficiency with various endoscopic instruments and adherence to infection control protocols. Responsibilities Assist with procedures such as biopsies, dilations, and foreign body removals. Perform high-level disinfection and cleaning of instruments and rooms after procedures. Prepare and set up for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functional. Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures. Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records using the Epic charting system. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in GI/Endoscopy. Must hold a valid New York RN license. BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
