Position Overview: The Zone Specialist assists customers and helps maintain the store appearance. The ZS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone. The zone specialist assists on register as needed.

Primary Responsibilities include merchandising responsibilities in assigned zone, assisting with training new Zone Specialists, being knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, maintaining assigned zone, assisting with pricing items, communicating customer needs to Team Leaders, maintaining the cleanliness of the overall store, and completing any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a minimum of six months' retail experience, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, sound judgment, confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, knowledge of industry terms and processes, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates.

Physical Requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
