Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Technologist OR

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery
• Ensure surgical equipment and supplies are sterile
• Assist surgical teams during operations
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures

Requirements of the Surgical Technologist OR

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred Surgical Tech Certification NBSTA or NCCT
