The Physical Therapist will work with students to evaluate and address physical and motor development challenges that impact their ability to participate in the educational environment. - Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans to address mobility, strength, coordination, and functional movement
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations when appropriate
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Must hold an active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of Michigan
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently with a small caseload
- Approximately 2-4 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on student needs and school availability
- Flexible, low-hour commitment
- Opportunity to work directly with students and support their educational success
- Ideal supplemental role for therapists working in clinics, hospitals, or private practice
