Senior Family Law AttorneyPensacola, Florida (Remote)Remote position with required attendance for in-person court appearances within Florida's First Judicial Circuit when necessary.Position OverviewA growing Family Law practice is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to handle complex family law matters, lead litigation strategy, and oversee a dedicated support team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated attorney with substantial courtroom experience who is looking for a leadership opportunity within a client-focused and results-driven environment.The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, supervise paralegals and legal support staff, and serve as lead counsel in contested family law matters.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolutionRepresent clients in hearings, mediations, and trialsServe as lead trial attorney in contested family law casesDevelop case strategy and provide legal guidance to clientsDraft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documentsSupervise and mentor paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staffEnsure cases move efficiently through the litigation processMaintain strong client communication and exceptional client serviceAttend in-person court appearances within the First Judicial Circuit when requiredQualificationsRequiredActive Florida Bar license in good standingMinimum of 4 years of full-time experience practicing Family Law, Divorce Law, or Civil LitigationTrial experience as lead attorney in at least 6 trials lasting one day or longer within the past two yearsStrong litigation and courtroom advocacy skillsProven ability to manage legal support staff and provide leadership to a teamExcellent organizational, communication, and case management abilitiesWillingness to pursue Florida Bar Board Certification in Family Law if not already certifiedPreferredFlorida Bar Board Certification in Family LawExtensive family law litigation experienceExperience handling high-conflict custody, support, and property division mattersLeadership experience within a law firm environmentIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a confident litigator who thrives in the courtroom, takes ownership of their cases, and enjoys leading a team.
