General Maintenance Technician – JLLThis is an entry-level position with excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement.Job DescriptionSeeking a motivated General Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Grove City, Ohio location. This entry-level position offers excellent room for growth and development as a key member of our facilities team. You will play an essential role in ensuring equipment reliability and maintaining our production environment. This position requires a willingness to learn and handle various maintenance tasks, from equipment upkeep to warehouse improvements. You'll work alongside experienced technicians to keep our automated systems running smoothly, supporting production goals, and maintaining a safe, efficient facility that enables our client's success.Daily ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers to ensure continuous production operations. Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment to minimize downtime. Manage work orders efficiently and coordinate with specialized support teams as needed. Interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements. Implement and enforce safety standards for all Material Handling Equipment in accordance with OEM requirements. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift. Utilize various tools and equipment while working in diverse facility conditions to maintain operational excellence.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of maintenance experience with conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printersAbility to work flexible schedules including night shift (Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM), weekends, and holidaysPhysical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking throughout shiftAbility to work in varying conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature fluctuations, noise, and concrete floorsManual dexterity for eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, and precision tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping)Preferred Qualifications1+ year of experience with automated conveyors, controls, and electrical wiring1+ year conducting preventative maintenance programs and reading blueprints/schematicsExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirementsLocation: Onsite – Grove City, OhioWork Shift: Night Shift – Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AMThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
