LPN - Pre-Admission Testing

Overview Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital Shift: Days 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Status: Full-time Department: Pre-Admission Testing Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare’s Mission and Vision Statements; functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The LPN guides ancillary staff, collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care, and blends compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient. Qualifications Education Graduate of an LPN program Required Work Experience New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred Licenses and Certifications LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required BCLS - Basic Life Support Required Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Preferred LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont
