Job Summary and Responsibilities This position is eligible for up to a $25,000 sign‑on bonus and up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance. As a Charge RN, you will oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care, long‑term care, or nursing homes will add tremendous value to our nursing team. Every day you will advocate for your nurses, supporting them in reaching their full potential, aligning with departmental operational goals and objectives. To thrive in this role, you should be accountable, confident, and an excellent communicator in both one‑on‑one interactions and group settings. It is important to handle tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and the unit. Provide direct supervision of nursing personnel, assign and evaluate patient care assignments, facilitate patient care throughout shifts, and observe staff performance. Proactively match existing resources to deliver patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment. Monitor productivity and ensure staffing and resources align with patient care needs. Communicate personnel concerns to the Unit Manager. Use a logical, systematic approach to problems and problem‑solving. Facilitate best practices for patient experience on the unit, such as hourly rounding. Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program, upon hire. Registered Nurse license in Kentucky, upon hire. Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days. Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days.
