Estimator

ECCO III Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Estimator with the ability to estimate work within a project bid/estimate to produce cost. The individual shall be responsible for contributing to the estimate of a project bid and working in conjunction with other Estimators to finalize an estimate. Individuals will be expected to interpret bid documents, drawings, and specifications; have knowledge of production and resources needed for utility, civil, structural and/or mechanical work; prepare cost estimates (i.e., creating bid items/activities and populating crews, equipment and materials); evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals; lead/mentor Junior Estimators; and communicate with upper management regarding bid development during review, among other tasks. Qualifications Successful candidates will meet most, if not all, of the below criteria: Experience as an Estimator contributing to the estimate of large-scale infrastructure projects Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate bid developments with upper management Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suite and HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating Software The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 in addition to bonus potential, 401k Safe Harbor Contribution, health benefits, paid time off, and more. The final salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the individual’s experience and qualifications.
