Job Title: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst IT

Duration: 6+ Months contract

Job Summary Clients IT Department is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst to support strategic and tactical change initiatives across the IT organization.

The OCM Analyst will develop and execute change management strategies that help employees and stakeholders successfully adopt new technologies, processes, tools, and ways of working.

This position will support major IT initiatives, agility transformation, operational improvements, and continuous improvement programs within a complex, matrixed organization.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing multiple initiatives, and engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.

The role requires hands-on experience across the complete change management lifecycle, including stakeholder analysis, leadership alignment, change impact assessment, communications, training, readiness, adoption, and change measurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end organizational change management strategies and plans for IT projects and operational initiatives.
• Conduct stakeholder assessments and identify impacted business groups, leaders, employees, and project teams.
• Build stakeholder engagement plans and establish leadership alignment around project objectives and expected outcomes.
• Perform change impact assessments to identify changes to roles, processes, systems, behaviors, and ways of working.
• Develop and execute communication and engagement plans for different stakeholder groups.
• Create professional change communications, presentations, leadership updates, FAQs, newsletters, talking points, and other supporting materials.
• Conduct training needs assessments and support the design, development, coordination, and delivery of training materials.
• Evaluate organizational readiness and identify adoption risks, resistance points, and mitigation actions.
• Define and track change management success measures, including awareness, readiness, participation, adoption, and effectiveness.
• Partner with project managers, business leaders, technology teams, communications teams, training teams, and other stakeholders.
• Manage OCM activities across multiple projects while maintaining schedules, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Apply change management and Agile principles to support evolving project priorities and effectively manage scope.
• Promote a culture of agility, adaptability, continuous learning, and employee empowerment.
• Perform all work with a high degree of quality, accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.

Education Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Information Technology, Business Management, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience Up to eight years of relevant organizational change management experience, including at least two to three years supporting IT initiatives.

Experience supporting or leading large-scale technology adoption and organizational change across multiple teams or departments.

Experience working in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.

Demonstrated experience across the full change management lifecycle, including: Stakeholder analysis Leadership alignment Change impact assessment Communication and engagement planning Training needs assessment and development Organizational readiness Resistance and risk management Adoption measurement and sustainment.

Strong knowledge of established change management methodologies, principles, and tools.

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently manage individual assignments and a portfolio of change initiatives.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Ability to develop professional presentations, written communications, spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation.

Ability to assess change-related risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

Ability to work effectively in Agile and rapidly changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Change management certification, such as Prosci.
• Experience with ADKAR or another recognized change management framework.
• Training development experience using ADDIE, SAM, or similar methodologies.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification.
• Previous experience supporting change initiatives within a utility, energy, or regulated industry.
• Experience with enterprise technology implementations, digital transformation, or IT operating-model changes.

Work Schedule Hybrid work arrangement. Onsite Monday through Thursday. Opportunity to work remotely on Fridays, based on project and business requirements. Candidates must be able to consistently meet the onsite schedule.

Interview Process One onsite interview round. Before the interview, candidates must provide the following work samples: A sample PowerPoint presentation or presentation slide. A one- to two-page communication or professional writing sample. Samples should demonstrate the candidate's ability to organize information, communicate clearly, and create professional stakeholder-facing materials. Candidates must remove any confidential, proprietary, client-specific, or personally identifiable information from submitted samples.

Recruiter Screening Priorities Recruiters should prioritize candidates who demonstrate: Hands-on OCM experience supporting IT or technology initiatives. Experience managing change across multiple business teams or departments. Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills. Practical experience creating change communications, presentations, impact assessments, training materials, and adoption measures. Ability and willingness to work onsite Monday through Thursday. Strong professional writing and PowerPoint presentation capabilities.
