Machine Operator

Job Summary Primarily responsible for setting up machine with master roll of vinyl and master roll of board or paper and then run together onto one roll. Job Duties Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards. Loads master rolls of vinyl and liner on laminator and align vinyl and liner to be laminated. Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventory Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control Identify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team lead Must be willing to work in other departments and/or areas and complete miscellaneous duties as assigned Job Qualifications High School diploma and/or equivalent and one year of related experience Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task Must be able to keep up with production standards Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills Must possess good problem solving skills Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other departments Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Basic computer skills Willingness to work as team member or independently Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to lift up to 50#’s Must be able to read a micrometer Must be able to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involved Transcendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Transcendia, Inc.
