Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cable Technician to support maintenance operations by ensuring equipment is maintained, repaired, and delivered on time to meet operational demands. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, minimizing maintenance-related downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance Base (MB).
Job Description
- Perform maintenance on assigned equipment in accordance with the established maintenance program and reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with standard work processes.
- Maintain accurate records within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems, including: Equipment movements, Work orders, Parts usage, Labor hours, Maintenance history
- Follow all TLM Product Line standards and maintenance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment utilization, reduce maintenance downtime, and improve cost of service delivery (CoSD).
- Assist in reducing equipment turnaround time by minimizing delays related to maintenance, parts availability, repairs, and work-in-process.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in CoSD projects, including planned repair and reuse of components.
- Assist with equipment failure investigations as assigned.
- Comply with the TLM Competency Management System and all company safety and quality standards.
S kills Required
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. without assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Regular lifting of approximately 30–50 lbs. without assistance.
- Heavier equipment and materials are moved using cranes or other mechanical lifting equipment.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment while following all safety procedures.
Preferred qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with cable use throughout well lifecycle operations.
- Quality-related certifications are a plus.
Education
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $26 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)

- S h i ft: Day shift (12 hours), Monday–Friday
