Electrical Project Manager

Williams Electric & HVAC is hiring an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are a commercial electrical contractor specializing in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, tenant finish-outs, light industrial projects, and ground-up commercial construction. Our projects typically range from $100K to $2M+ , with a strong pipeline of local repeat-client and negotiated work throughout DFW. All projects are local. No out-of-town travel is required. This is a key role for a Project Manager who can independently manage commercial electrical projects from turnover through closeout while driving schedule performance, cost control, field coordination, client communication, and profitability. This is not an entry-level PM position. We are looking for someone with real commercial electrical construction experience who understands how to run projects, lead teams, solve problems, and protect job margins. What You’ll Do Manage multiple commercial electrical construction projects at the same time Take ownership of projects from turnover through closeout Manage project budgets, forecasting, labor tracking, job costing, and cost control Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, procurement logs, and execution timelines Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, superintendents, foremen, vendors, and subcontractors Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, closeout documentation, and project communication Perform material buyout and coordinate equipment procurement Identify scope gaps, contract risks, drawing conflicts, and field issues early Support field operations to maintain production, manpower efficiency, and schedule performance Ensure work is performed in accordance with NEC, local codes, safety requirements, and contract documents Lead project meetings and represent the company professionally with clients and trade partners Work closely with company leadership to improve project execution and profitability Required Qualifications Commercial electrical construction experience Experience working directly for an electrical contractor 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience 3+ years of Project Manager experience managing commercial electrical projects Experience managing projects ranging from approximately $200K to $2M+ Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, NEC requirements, and construction sequencing Experience managing project financials, forecasting, labor tracking, change orders, and job costing Experience with RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and closeout documentation Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license OSHA 30 certification Experience with Procore or similar construction management software Experience with industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or ground-up commercial projects Field background as an electrician, foreman, superintendent, or lead field supervisor Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 , depending on experience Project performance bonus opportunities 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account Paid time off Life insurance Company-supported training and growth opportunities Why Join Williams Electric & HVAC?
