Our goal is to offer competitive pay and benefits along with a great working environment to people who can grow with us./ppGenerally, a valet attendant will pull cars from customers at one location such as a hotel, restaurant, etc. and park them in a remote parking lot/garage. They will then be required to retrieve the customer cars from the remote parking lot/garage location and drive them back to the customers when they return./ppPay Rate: $16.45/hour/pp30-32 hrs/week, evenings (4pm-12pm)/ph3Essential Responsibilities/h3ulliDrives and maneuvers automatic and stick shift cars in confined, underground facilities, surface lots, or up and down parking garage ramps./liliReturns to work stations quickly so as to facilitate optimal customer flow./liliHandles each vehicle with care and attention, and follows all facility safety precautions./liliProvides outstanding customer service by responding to customer needs, questions, and problems and/or complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible./liliMay assist customers in and out of vehicles./liliReports any accidents, hazards or maintenance requirements, or the presence of any suspicious individuals or activities immediately to the manager./liliRemain vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening and inform management immediately./liliMonitor work area and property for safety and security./liliRecognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner./liliParticipate in all safety and security trainings within the market./liliOn an exception basis, a valet attendant may be required to perform cashier duties or light garage maintenance duties./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliMust know how to and be able to drive a manual and automatic transmission passenger vehicles./liliPossess math skills sufficient to calculate time and money./liliMust be able to understand verbal instructions and act accordingly in a timely manner./li/ulpEligibility Requirements/pulliMust submit your application for employment through to be considered for this position./liulliMust have unrestricted authorization to work in US./liliMust be at least 18 years old./liliValid drivers license; depending on location, may require a valid drivers license from the state in which the employee works./liliMust be willing to pass a math test as part of the selection process./liliMust be willing to submit to a drug, background investigation and MVR/Driving Record check as part of the selection process./liliMust be willing and able to work outdoors and be exposed to all types of weather elements./liliMust be able to stand for extended periods of time./liliMust be able to walk to or move to assist customers in a timely manner; In some cases, must be able to travel up and down parking garage ramps in order to assist customers and address garage issues./li/ul/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliProfessional experience parking cars or working as a valet attendant./liliPrior customer service industry experience./liliPossess excellent communication skills in order to facilitate interactions with co-workers, superiors, and customers./liliPossess strong time management skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with high customer volume./liliPositive attitude and strong customer focus./liliAbility to grasp, push, scoop, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed./li/ulpComprehensive Benefits Package contains, but not limited to:/pulli401k/liliEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)/liliVacation/Sick Time/li/ulpAdditional Full Time Benefits/pulliMedical, Dental, Vision/liliPre-Tax Commuter Benefit/li/ul/div
