Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history assessments
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, positioning patients appropriately, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, discharge planning, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
