We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a busy family law practice *ON-SITE* 3-4 days a week in Red Bank, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone with at least 1+ year of legal support experience who can manage filings, schedules, and case documentation with accuracy and professionalism. The role offers the chance to work closely with attorneys on family law matters while helping keep daily operations organized and compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit legal documents, such as Motions and other family law documents, through electronic filing systems and ensure court deadlines are met.

• Coordinate attorney calendars, hearings, meetings, and other case-related scheduling activities.

• Support day-to-day office operations by handling administrative tasks that keep legal workflows on track.

• Monitor case progress and follow up on filings, court dates, and required documents.

• Maintain organized case files, correspondence, and records to support efficient matter management.

• Help ensure files and processes align with legal procedures, court rules, and internal standards.

• Communicate with courts, clients, and outside parties in a clear and timely manner as needed.

• At least 1+ years of direct and recent experience in a Legal Assistant role or a similar legal support position, preferably with Family Law matters and related court procedures.

• Hands-on experience with e-filing, court filings, and legal document management.

• Working knowledge of civil litigation processes and deadlines.

• Strong calendar management and scheduling skills with close attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented demeanor.
