Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of PointClickCare experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Bellin.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable drawing own labs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer prior critical access experience

Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree or Certificate

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree

Unit/Facility Details: We admit for inpatient, observation, Swing Bed and do same day surgical recovery for orthopedic patients.

Special Requests: Candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: Every other weekend & holiday rotation On Call/Call Back Requirements: None

Floating Requirements (campuses and/or units): Float to ED would be a plus (not required), including M/S holds.

14 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 7

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
