Production Worker (Manufacturing) - 2nd Shift

That's why we live different, play different.The 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm.The Technician Combo will be responsible for operating the stripping and punch press equipment, performs product inspections, identifies quality defects, completes basic machine troubleshooting, and supports production, safety, and 5S standards to ensure daily manufacturing targets are met.What You'll Do As A Technician Combo:Review with lead person work to be performedReview the work orders to determine materials required for the daily productionComply with production documentation and standard operating proceduresLoad, operate and perform basic trouble shooting and maintenance on stripper machines.Transfer stripped sheets to transfer cart and perform face and back inspection on strips per procedure.Load, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on punch machines with strips in proper sequence.Perform deck inspection per written procedures. Identify and notify lead operator and/or supervisor of defects. Requires recording the defects in writing.Ensure that all component materials such as hanging tabs, tear tabs, tuck cases, cellophane and cartons are in adequate supply, loaded properly, and correct for each work orderMaintain a neat and orderly work area, making sure that materials and equipment are in their correct place, that trash is cleared away, and that 5S standards are metUnderstand various quality levels and audit accordingly as different products are producedReject product that does meet qualifications and place in scrap containerCoordinate the containment of defective product with team membersOther duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.We're Looking For A Technician Combo With:Knowledge:1. Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience2. High School diploma or equivalent work experienceSkills:1. High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines2. Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems3.
