PM - Supply Chain

Overview the PM will independently lead multiple complex Service Systems Operations projects that may span systems, geographies and functions within Service Organization. The scope of the role will encapsulate all disciplines related to Supply Chain and/or Service Channel systems. Responsibilities Lead discrete software and/or process projects related to operational strategy, planning and execution that will support Applecare Operations to execute best in class Supply Chain and Channel Repair models. Act as liaison for Service Operations to other organizations within Apple to facilitate major process or systems enhancements (e.g., Warehouse management, Finance, Business Process Re-engineering, IST, Business Dev, etc.). Work closely with internal stakeholders within Service Operations to drive projects to successful completion. Analyze root cause Service Operations issues to determine gaps and put in place corrective actions. Perform training for new systems and processes within AppleCare. Write business requirements documents (systems requirements) for systems business enhancements. Create deliverables and effective presentations to executives. Analyze and revamp daily operational processes to enhance productivity. Work with the internal process management team to ensure synchronization of efforts with the business team. Manage projects from cradle to grave. Provide cost-benefit analyses and return on investment analyses, along with project status to the business. Assist with scalability requirements for AppleCare’s Operations organization. Determine innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction. Help assess appropriate tools for AppleCare’s Materials Channel organizations. Manage projects to assemble and update all process documentation for AppleCare Materials Channels. Coordinate discussions that scope out systems requirements for the next 5–10 years in AppleCare. Key Qualifications: Supply Chain and/or Channels Operations experience (4–5 years). Experience in managing and leading Service Operations business projects. Experience in gathering and documenting requirements for an Operations business project for either systems or process projects. Experience in developing and delivering project status presentations to executives. Supply Chain workflow design/process mapping capability. Strong leadership capabilities. Experience using supply chain systems such as SAP, APO, Agile, Oracle, or 09 is an asset. Implementing Supply Chain or Channel software solutions is an asset. Experience in forecasting, planning, inventory management, warehousing, and/or channel repair related processes would be considered an asset. Consulting experience would also be an asset. Education: 4-year degree — postgraduate degree a plus. Additional requirements: APIC certification a plus; Project management certifications a plus. Domestic and international travel as needed.
