MRI Technologist

MRI Technologist needed in a facility with 58 licensed beds. No trauma designation is present. The traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit. One MRI Imaging Room available. Majority of patients will be outpatients, with 1-3 inpatients seen per day. The tech will see mainly adults and geriatric patients, with rare pediatric cases. Occasionally, ED patients will be seen. The average number of patients seen in the department per day is between 7 and 11. Charge nurse and lead tech will provide support on the unit. A tech assistant will be available when staffing allows. There is a possibility to assist with X-rays if the traveler has experience and feels comfortable. The expectation is to help lift patients within the department if the traveler is not busy. The schedule is released every six weeks. The tech is expected to work one holiday and must discuss request for time off during the second interview. Scrubs must be black, and closed-toed nursing or tennis shoes are required.
