Strongly preferred 3 years of experience in the operating room in the last 3 years. Level 1 Trauma experience for at least 1 year out of the last 3. Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years.License: Surgical Technician certification preferredCertifications: Relevant certifications in surgical technology are preferredMust-Have: Proficiency in the following areas: General surgery, Orthopedics (total joints required), Neurosurgery (craniotomy and spine required), Vascular surgery, Trauma surgery, Robotics - Da Vinci system (must be able to perform cardiac procedures, including moving arms and draping), Transplant surgery experience is a plusDescription: Can not be a previous regular employee. All shifts will be rotating, including days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekends are required. Call may occur on weekdays and/or weekends. Weekend shifts can be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. In six weeks, there may be up to three weekend shifts of call, which will be either Saturday (24 hours: 7 AM - 7 AM) or Sunday (16 hours: 7 AM - 11 PM). There may be additional night shifts on Friday nights. No block scheduling is available. Call response time is expected to be 30 minutes.
