Job Title Training Support Foreman I Agency Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Department Law Enforcement and Protective Services Proposed Minimum Salary $28.86 hourly Job Location Bryan, Texas Job Type Staff Job Summary The Training Support Foreman I is responsible for supervising, directing, and assigning work to Training Tech Staff and Student Workers. The role oversees maintenance, renovations, and construction of training projects, buildings, and facilities/grounds support, and ensures accurate inventory control and supplies ordering. The position supports training deliveries at multiple centers and assists with third‑party facility usage, conducting facility preparation, inspections, and monitoring. It also manages Preventative Maintenance (PM) Work Orders, basic repairs, and minor building maintenance. Responsibilities The role reports to the Training Director and performs: Supervise, direct, and assign work to staff and student workers. Execute maintenance, renovations, and construction of training facilities. Maintain accurate inventory, order equipment, materials, and supplies. Support training deliveries across various training centers. Assist with third‑party facility usage requests, including preparation, inspections, and safety liaison duties. Manage PM Work Orders, basic repairs of grounds and training props, and minor building maintenance. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four years of experience in basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, machinery and equipment operation, building trades, construction, welding, pipefitting, concrete, and/or heavy equipment operation. Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. Valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License. 30‑hour OSHA training or ability to obtain within first 12 months of employment. Equivalency: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with no prior experience OR an Associate’s degree in a related field with two years of related experience is acceptable.
