PTO accrued each pay period, and a paid birthday PTO day 401(k) with company match Tuition Reimbursement Your Role as a Maintenance Tech: Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of all mechanical, electric and plumbing systems and patient care equipment in a safe operating condition to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, guests and staff. Responsible for completing basic maintenance work including but not limited to drywall, painting, plumbing, landscaping. Responsible for following the preventative maintenance program and quality assurance program to ensure the safe operation of the facility and equipment. Required to be on-call for emergencies and/or problem situations and coordinate a timely response. What We're Looking For: Must have a minimum of a high school education. Prior experience in building maintenance preferred. Certifications or licenses in plumbing or electrical are a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and, to work independently and as a part of a team. Ability to remain calm and cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. Must be in good general health and free of communicable diseases. Must have visual acuity and ability to hear, with or without use of prosthetics. Must have the physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move intermittently throughout the shift, as well as the ability to climb and descend stairs, use elevator and assist residents. Must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment in excess of fifty pounds and stand for extended period of time.
