Job SummaryUW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC endocrinologist to join our endocrine and diabetes team. As one of three endocrinologists providing dedicated support to the over 360 providers of SwedishAmerican Medical Group, you will enjoy a busy community-based outpatient practice with consult-only hospital coverage.Your practice includes the following:Working alongside our team of three endocrinologists and one APPOn site certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians and clinical pharmacistsNewly renovated state-of-the-art clinicAccess to ADA-recognized diabetes education program with RN and RD educators at Diabetes Self-Management ClinicExtended support from endocrine surgery (located on site) as well as oncologic subspecialists from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI Academic Appointment And teaching opportunities available through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at RockfordEducationMD or DO - RequiredLicense/CertificationsActive DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire - RequiredActive Illinois medical license - RequiredBoard Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
