Senior System Software Engineer

Focused on developing and optimizing system software for next-generation O-RAN infrastructure, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will work remotely or onsite to enhance performance and energy efficiency across SoC architecture, cellular systems, and firmware. Key responsibilities Design, develop, test, and optimize system software and firmware for SoCs in O-RAN and cellular infrastructure Analyze workloads to identify bottlenecks and develop power-management policies and performance optimizations Create performance and power models, benchmarks, and automated test infrastructure for pre-silicon and post-silicon environments Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of relevant experience in system software, embedded software, firmware, or performance engineering Strong programming skills in C or C++ and proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language Experience with operating-system internals, Linux kernel development, and device drivers Knowledge of interface standards relevant to 5G and the evolution toward 6G, including 3GPP NR interfaces and O-RAN protocols
