Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room/Surgery position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring at least 1 year of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA.

Details

• Day shift position with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, scheduled 5x8s
• General Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Weekend and on-call requirements apply
• Floating to other units or locations is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current NM RN license or valid Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, implementing timely interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes
• Delegates and coordinates team assignments to support patient care activities
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Candidates who have previously worked (non-travel) at any CHRISTUS Health facility must have been separated for at least 6 months before being considered
