Senior · Staff Full-stack Engineer

Own product-critical slices end-to-end, from database to UI, on the coach-facing side of Statellite.

Requirements

• 6+ years of production experience across TypeScript and a typed backend (Go, Rust, or similar).
• Comfort in Postgres schema design, query performance, and migrations on a live system.
• Experience owning features from spec to shipped, including observability and rollback plans.
• A bias for boring, readable systems over abstract frameworks.
• Strong written communication. Async updates, RFCs, and customer-facing release notes.

What you'll do

• Ship user-facing features in Next.js 16 across the coach and athlete products.
• Design the API surface and data model behind new workflows, end-to-end.
• Partner with design on realistic interaction specs and acceptance criteria.
• Instrument what you ship. Logs, traces, and SLOs before release, not after.
• Mentor engineers on code review, testing strategy, and pragmatic refactoring.

What we offer

• Competitive salary with meaningful equity.
• Health, dental, and vision plans for you and dependents.
• Remote-first with quarterly onsite weeks in South Carolina.
• Generous paid time off and a proper holiday freeze.
• Annual budget for conferences, books, and coaching education.
