Cherry Picker Operator / Warehouse Associate (weekend shift)
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Order Picker / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a highly physical position that involves picking orders, loading and unloading tires of various sizes and weights, and operating a Cherry Picker forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Candidates must be comfortable lifting heavy products throughout the day, working at heights on warehouse equipment, and working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with varying temperatures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using a Cherry Picker.
- Load and unload tires of various sizes and weights.
- Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate a Cherry Picker forklift safely and efficiently.
- Move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Verify product quantities and order accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Qualifications
- Previous Cherry Picker experience is required.
- Previous warehouse, order picking, loading/unloading, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work at heights while operating warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy tires repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting of 50+ pounds .
- Continuous standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Repetitive loading and unloading of tires.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, including hot and cold temperatures.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Non-climate-controlled facility.
- Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Frequent use of warehouse equipment, including a Cherry Picker.
