Key Qualifications:

• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of South Carolina
• Proven experience in school-based settings, including teletherapy services
• Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions appropriate for K-8th grade
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Adept at managing diverse caseloads and empowering student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in kindergarten through 8th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational goals
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress
• Work in partnership with teachers, staff, and families to create positive outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for accommodations and modifications
• Remain current on best practices and compliance requirements in school OT

Position Details and Perks:

• Contract role for the full academic year, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 21, 2027
• Full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), with standard school hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Choice of onsite or virtual/teletherapy service delivery
• Single-site caseload at one public charter school, supporting a manageable and focused assignment
