Job Overview A law firm seeks a Projects Associate to join its team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in domestic and international business transactions, particularly in the energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects involving renewable energy, energy storage, and power generation technologies. Duties Advise clients on energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development. Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents. Conduct thorough due diligence for M&A deals. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends and legal changes. Assist on other legal matters concerning project development and M&A as needed. Requirements 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in business transactions and corporate matters. Strong focus on the energy sector. Experience with renewable energy market transactions is helpful. Law firm mergers & acquisitions or project finance experience preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Skills Excellent negotiation and drafting skills. Strong analytical and research abilities.
