Qualifications – Director of Nursing (DON):
Knowledge of legal regulations and healthcare best practices
Ability to lead and develop personnel
Strong communication and people skills
Organizational and stress management skills
Problem-solving aptitude
RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Missouri
Duties and Responsibilities – Director of Nursing (DON):
Direct, oversee, and evaluate nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, etc.)
Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department
Develop and enforce policies for legal compliance and quality standards
Control budgets and monitor expenditures
Resolve issues and deficiencies as needed
Manage record-keeping procedures
Experience – Director of Nursing (DON):
Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
Previous Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
