Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, production operations, and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, containerization, monitoring, scripting, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or Groovy.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deploy and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor production systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Support build, release, deployment, and automated testing processes.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization, infrastructure costs, and operational efficiency.
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams in an Agile environment.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, operational documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call rotations and production support activities as required.

Required Skills

• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or PowerShell DSC.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, or ELK.
• Scripting: Python, Shell, PowerShell, Groovy, or Perl.
• Version control: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience migrating applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
• Knowledge of automated testing and code quality tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools such as Black Duck, Veracode, or Checkmarx.
• Experience with production reliability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
