Job Description:

- Join us in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across a variety of medical specialties in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver professional nursing care in the outpatient clinic, adhering to high standards of practice.

- Triage incoming patient calls, assess needs, and offer appropriate advice within your scope of practice.

- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs, including:

- Assessing patients' conditions


- Counseling and educating patients


- Taking patient histories and performing screenings


- Administering vaccinations and medications


- Assist healthcare providers with procedures and examinations.

- Document patient care in healthcare records according to established standards.

- Ensure professional effectiveness through ongoing education and professional development.

- Participate in developing and maintaining clinic policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

- Be flexible and ready to take on additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


- Current, unencumbered RN license (Utah or compact state).

- Knowledge of infection control principles and patient safety techniques.

- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, especially in rapidly changing situations.

- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

- Competence in computer systems, data entry, and electronic medical records.

- Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. without assistance; able to lift/move more with assistance.

- Must maintain confidentiality and be reliable and punctual.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience in an outpatient setting (Family Practice, Surgical Center, GYN, etc.).
