Position Overview : This is an entry-level position. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the employee benefits industry while developing expertise in quoting processes, carrier systems, and agency workflows. The Account Coordinator works under the guidance of the Senior Account Coordinator and company leadership, supporting the team's commitment to providing timely, accurate, and exceptional service to our agents and their clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process requests for pre-screened and/or underwritten proposals from the market using various underwriting systems (i.e. FormFire, EasyApps, Ease, GRX, paper applications, claims experience, etc.).
• Coordinate with agents, insurance carriers, and internal team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of quotes.
• Process Requests for Proposals (RFPs) via online quoting software.
• Keep all parties involved informed of case status throughout the quoting process.
• Log group information into the agency management system and maintain accurate group case files.
• Assist with renewal support as directed.
• Coordinate new sold case submissions to carrier partners, ensuring all required applications, enrollment materials, documentation, and supporting information are complete and submitted accurately and timely.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination throughout the new case implementation process, working with agents, carrier partners, and internal team members to resolve outstanding requirements, track case status, and facilitate approval and effective-date confirmation.
• Support the company in other administrative activities as needed.

Qualifications :

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in insurance or customer service is a plus but not required.

• Normal hours for the full-time position are Monday through Friday from 8:30-4:30
• Hybrid schedule with remote days Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. (Equipment provided.)
• Rejuvenation (vacation) benefit $2000 plus bonus week of vacation, after 1 year of employment
• Lunch provided during in-office work days
