Position Bench Scientist (Molecular Biology) Location Cambridge, MA Duration 24+ Month Contract Job Overview We are seeking a Bench Scientist with hands‑on experience in DNA production and molecular biology to support high‑throughput laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with DNA workflows, sample processing, quality control, and laboratory automation in a production‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities Perform DNA production workflows, including transformations, culturing, sample preparation, and processing. Conduct sample quality control (QC) and prepare samples for sequencing. Submit and track sequencing samples using LIMS, FreezerPro, or similar laboratory systems. Operate and support automated laboratory equipment, including liquid handling platforms. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Support high‑throughput laboratory operations while ensuring data integrity and quality. Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience with DNA production workflows (required). 2+ years of industry experience or a Master's degree with relevant laboratory experience. Strong background in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences. Experience working in a production‑oriented or high‑throughput laboratory environment.
