Project Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial, renovation, and historic construction projects. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Manage subcontractors, ensuring that they are meeting project goals and timelines.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Manage all aspects of the construction site, including safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Attend project meetings and provide input on construction-related issues.
Ensure that all project documentation, including change orders and RFIs, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a strong background in commercial, renovation, and historic construction projects
Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and specifications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
