AI Finance Manager – Tech Consulting – Location: Chicago (Remote/Region) We are looking for a seasoned data professional to lead the development and implementation of EY's AI Finance solution. In this role you will work with finance, IT, and data science teams to design data models, governance frameworks, and generative AI applications that improve finance operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of complex technical initiatives, ensuring accountability for performance and results. Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. Drive continuous process improvement by identifying innovative solutions through research and analysis. Support the execution of the overall finance application data management strategy. Define data requirements, architecture, and models for finance applications, incorporating Machine Learning and Gen AI. Develop and maintain documentation such as data dictionaries, entity‑relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps. Collaborate with data scientists and finance stakeholders to apply AI techniques to finance applications. Maintain a robust data governance framework for the Finance Data Layer (FDL) Blueprint. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and ~5 years of related work experience, or graduate degree and ~4 years. Minimum 4 years of data management experience, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles. Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, MS SQL, Python). Knowledge of finance applications and financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modeling tools. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and to adopt emerging technologies. Preferred (Ideal) Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with experience in finance data management, data modeling, and ML. Benefits Competitive base salary range (US: $142,600–$261,500; NYC, WA, CA – $171,200–$297,200). Additional compensation through performance bonuses.
