This position involves providing high-quality patient care for adult patient populations with various medical conditions, including CHF, COPD, sepsis, and dialysis patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; at least 2 years of previous PCU experience; current license in good standing.
• Schedule: Nights shifts, 6-week schedule with self-scheduling and manager approval.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within scope of practice; will be first to float and could float within scope of practice and below the patient ratio if floating to Medical-Surgical units.
• Additional Information: Travelers will be first to float and may float within scope of practice, with compensation for travel time between facilities. Orientation includes 1-2 shifts on the unit. Weekend rotations involve 6 shifts in a 6-week schedule, with no on-call requirement. No phlebotomy required. The unit utilizes EPIC electronic medical records and Alaris infusion pumps. Proper clearance and compliance with facility policies are expected.
• Support Staff: 3 CNAs, charge nurse presence, and support from anesthesia and hospitalist teams.
