Position Summary

As a Certified Electrician, you will work on a variety of projects, including installing solar systems, supporting existing customers, and gaining experience with energy storage and other emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the installation of electrical systems that connect residential solar arrays to grid power.
2. Ensure all electrical work is completed with quality workmanship and in compliance with current NEC and local codes.
3. Complete solar battery installations as assigned.
4. Troubleshoot system issues and resolve electrical problems efficiently and safely.
5. Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs).
6. Coordinate with branch teams and homeowners to complete system upgrades or repairs needed to support solar equipment.
7. Work with local inspectors to meet applicable requirements and expectations.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
9. Travel up to 5% as required.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Electrical installation and repair experience required.
2. Experience performing electrical work involving wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
3. Working knowledge of residential electrical service replacements and distribution panel upgrades preferred.
4. Valid Journeyman License, Electrician Certification, wireman license, or equivalent credential required based on local and state requirements.
5. Clean driving record required, with the ability to pass a driving background check.
6. Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
7. Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Employment Type & Compensation

1. This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire
2. Pay rate is $32.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on experience
3. Application Window: Open until filled
