Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - MD will:

• Support multiple Project Managers across all phases of construction, from estimating through project closeout
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
• Prepare, track, and manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure quality, schedule, and budget alignment
• Maintain organized project files in accordance with company standards and procedures
• Track action items and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects moving
• Partner with the Accounting team on subcontractor invoicing and payment processing
• Develop a deep understanding of project scope, drawings, estimates, buyout strategy, and schedules
• Proactively suggest improvements to processes and contribute to continuous company growth

The Successful Applicant

The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - MD will have:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of corporate interiors experience with a General Contractor
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools preferred
