Intermediate Instrumentation and Controls CAD Technician - Water We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls CAD Technician for our Redding, California office. This person can work out of our Redding Jacobs office or any of the California Jacobs offices. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work alongside a team of water technicians and engineers on water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and river facilities projects where you will play a role in the entire design process including preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, problem resolution, drawing and specification production. Qualifications Associates degree in Design arena or Technical Drafting field 1-3 years experience in CAD design or related electrical/instrumentation and controls field Working knowledge of any of the following software – AUTOCAD, Microstation, or Open Plant P&ID (OPPID) Benefits Our health and welfare benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off (allocated plans start date 17 days per calendar year), seven paid holidays, caregiver leave and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount as well as legally mandated benefits. Salary The base salary range for this position is $58,200.00 to $109,900.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
