PSYCHOLOGIST

Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Facility Director, the Psychologist, Health Facility provides psychological services to consumers through the pre-admission process to placement in the community or to another facility. On-going interaction with consumers. Provides therapeutic interventions through various forms of individual and group therapy. Performs initial and ongoing Psychological evaluations/assessments in a timely manner as specified in Canyon Springs Policy/Procedure. Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development and implementation of the IHP. Work at various sites, shift and extended hours as needed to provide needed psychological services.

Effective October 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three (3) percent in exchange for five (5) hours per month of the Personal Leave.
