As a Security Officer in City Of Industry, CA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at manufacturing, industrial, and healthcare-related locations. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor documentation. Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders while reporting observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Fluent Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills are required. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
