The Opportunity As part of the Tax Innovation team, you will design and implement innovative software solutions that integrate AI and automation into tax processes. As a Senior Associate, you will own components and services, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with tax specialists to shape innovative use cases while navigating the complexities of software engineering. Responsibilities - Design and implement advanced software solutions incorporating AI and automation - Own and manage specific components and services within projects - Mentor junior developers and foster their technical growth - Collaborate with tax experts to develop innovative use cases - Navigate the complexities associated with software engineering tasks - Participate in architectural decision-making processes - Work within an agile framework to deliver exceptional solutions - Enhance technical knowledge through continuous learning and application What You Must Have - Bachelor's Degree - At least 2 years of experience What Sets You Apart - Having proven experience building applications using Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python - Having proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture - Demonstrating skills in relational databases and SQL - Possesing familiarity with Agile practices and CI/CD tooling - Possesing experience deploying applications to cloud environments like Azure or AWS - Having involvement in data and AI workloads using Python or R - Understanding of security and compliance for data and AI - Possesing the ability to mentor junior developers and foster innovation Travel Requirements Up to 20% Job Posting End Date The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
