Chipton-Ross is seeking an SMT Operator for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, Fl.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Ability read and understand Mil-Specifications and Electronics schematics
• SMT knowledge is a plus
• AOI & Visual Defect identification

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates through-hole or surface mount technology (SMT) automatic assembly equipment to produce high quality complex printed circuit board assemblies. •Responsible for set-up, operations and routine maintenance.
• Manually or using semi-automatic equipment screen print solder paste.
• Operate adhesive dispensing equipment.
• Loads components supplied in tubes or reels onto feeders, and loads feeders onto placement equipment.
• May hand place some SMT components.
• Place assembled printed circuit boards into solder reflow ovens.
• May use standard electronic hand tools (solder, flux and adhesive).
• Utilize drawings, visual aides and other instructions to identify defects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS

• Full-Time

4/10 work schedule

• 1st Shift
• 5AM-3:30PM EST

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
